I've been writing about real estate for 14 years, most of it for Bloomberg News, where I covered the always-interesting world of New York City property. I wrote about real estate from the bottom up: first, through the depths of the global financial crisis, then an era of expensive condo speculation and record-setting pricing, and on through the uncertainty of the Covid pandemic. I love a great data chart -- and a great interview even more. In 2022, I became part of a still-developing story: like thousands of my fellow New Yorkers, I relocated to Florida. Now I get to chronicle this fascinating, and growing, market -- with a cool view of palm trees out my window.
